Catch-up option

Foundations crash course

Coming soonpricing to be determined

An intensive short course for students who want to close foundational gaps (algebra, roots, fractions and integer operations) before joining a weekly cohort.

  • Short, intensive format
  • Focused entirely on foundational skills
  • Dates announced when it opens

How it's delivered

Modern delivery. Traditional methods.

Live online via Zoom. The teacher writes and works through examples on screen while you follow along with pen and paper, because science shows that what you write by hand is what actually stays with you.

The teacher teaches

Every lesson is led from the front. Concepts are explained, modelled and worked through on screen before you are asked to attempt anything on your own. No videos to watch alone, no app to figure out by yourself.

You write it by hand

You work along with pen and paper in every class. Handwriting mathematics is slower than typing on purpose: what you write by hand is what actually stays with you.

Practice, then correction

Textbook exercises after every topic, and unresolved questions brought back to the next lesson. Deliberate repetition is how maths gets embedded, not memorised.

Program details

Everything you need to know

Designed for consistency, clarity and genuine progress, not just attendance.

Who it's for

Students who are about to begin, or have just begun, Year 11 Mathematical Methods, whether you are aiming high or want extra time to secure your foundations before senior maths gets serious.

How it's delivered

Modern delivery, traditional methods. Live online via Zoom: Sabina writes and works through examples on screen while you follow along with pen and paper, exactly as you would face to face.

Structure

Quarterly delivery, with roughly one unit of work covered per term. Content is sequenced so each topic builds on the one before it.

Textbooks

You use your own school textbook. There is no extra book to buy, and the work stays aligned to the Queensland curriculum (QCAA) and what you use at school.

Homework

Textbook exercises are set after a topic has been taught. Bring anything unclear back to the next session and it gets worked through.

Assessment

Ongoing formative assessment happens during teaching, and a topic test follows each completed topic so your progress is visible and specific.

How it works

From readiness to results

Four clear steps from first contact to confident senior maths performance.

Take the Readiness Check

A free 3-minute diagnostic shows exactly which of your foundations are secure and which need attention before the course begins.

Enrol for the term

One simple term fee: no lock-in, no hidden costs. You join the next available class.

Attend live weekly classes

One hour a week via Zoom. Explicit teaching, worked examples, and pen-and-paper practice every session.

Track and close gaps

Topic tests and targeted homework keep your progress measurable. Foundational gaps are addressed before they compound.
